Positioned just above the farm buildings on the ascent to Carron Crag. This was a large structure of which the back can be seen in the photograph above. Text in the 1990 guide map says “Past and present fuse… and refer to progress in time” refering to the sarcophagus sitting atop the tower.
The side in shadow above, had an entrance and from what I remember two seats either side of the doorway. Despite not being listed on a map since 1994 I remember sitting it in when it was raining, which would have been around 1999/2000 it must have gone around that time.
