One of three sculptures sited in Grizedale in the summer of 2021 as part of a television series by Sky Arts called ‘Landmark’. It is a competition to award a sculptor with designing a new large scale sculpture to be sited in Coventry. The three in Grizedale seem to represent the north region. One sculptor from each region will progress and a final winner chosen from there

Positioned in the exact spot where Torment of the Metals was. This is interesting as it is also a copper sculpture, also involves a part hanging underneath. I do feel the placement was deliberate.

The motif in the middle is the White Rose, symbol of Yorkshire (although the copper makes it look more like the Red Lancashire Rose). This is most clearly seen when standing underneath and looking upwards.
