This sculpture is sited on the Grizedale Tarn Trail. It is a large wooden post with a carving of a fox on it. It is reminiscent of a totem pole but with only one carving. It actually represents a story (that I never heard, perhaps because I live in the North West) about a fox that entered the shard building in London. He reached the 76th floor before being rescued and released, hence the carving being part way up the ‘shard’.
