Alan Grimwood – Satterthwaite Village – 1984
“Alan Grimwood’s “Rabbit” is so much a part of the forest now that a request from a local playground [to have it] was turned down because the forest workers liked it where it was.” – The Slasher 1984
Presumably after this request Grimwood made a second Rabbit as “Another Grimwood sculpture of a Rabbit is sited at the children’s playground in Satterthwaite.” – Early 1984 Map
I cannot find any photographs of thisRabbi though I assume it was similar to the first.

Alan Grimwood returned to Grizedale in 1984 to make a second rabbit. It was sited just west of the Village, in a field on the track into the forest. I can’t find any photographs or further information on this sculpture. It must have gone prior to 1989.
