Installed at the start of December 2017. It is sited on the Silurian way just north of the Visitor Centre right next to Underground Tree. An Oak tree was felled in situ, then taken away and steam bent, before being re installed in the exact same location. The start of the sculpture connects to the stump of the oak tree that was felled. Originating about a foot off the ground the sculpture quickly ascends, eventually making its way to the top of a full grown tree. In total it consists of 100m of steam bent oak. The artist Charlie explained that it is almost as if the felled oak, on its way down became entangled in this neighbouring tree.

During the winter the steam bent curves are very visible, in the summer months it will be more obscured. The wood constantly loops and twists within the tree before reaching the top of the canopy where the sculpture ends. It is a challenge to try to follow the one continues line that is the artwork due to its looping nature.

The wood has now darkened with age making it blend with the forest more.
