This is an upside down tree encased in a stone dome. Hands down the hardest sculpture to photograph. In order to see the tree roots you have to climb up the raised platform, it can’t be viewed from ground level.

It was meant to be the first sculpture in an international sculpture trail in 1997, which never happened. It is on the Silurian Way north of the visitor centre. In 2018 it has been removed from the sculpture map, it is still there looking that same as it ever did, just with some dead leaves on top.
