This is a maquette the label naming it ‘weaving piece’ (1). It is located in the Grizedale Arts office in Coniston. The number 1 suggests there were more created. It is possible this was a separate idea for an artwork, either that or the idea morphed into Vigil.

Sited below Carron Crag summit, three structures made out of woven material stretched between two poles. They look very tall. They went between 1988 and 1991.
