In the archive this was listed as being on the Ridding Wood Trail, it wasn’t it was somewhere on the south flanks of Carron Crag due west of the Visitor Centre. There is only one black and white photo of it in the archive as seen above.

This was a relatively ephemeral work. It was created using deer skin and bones. Reece had trained to be a taxidermist and was experimenting. It looks to be a series of wooden posts and crossbeams leading off up the hillside with an array of taxidermy objects attached in between. It isn’t listed on any maps I have so It must have been installed too late for the 98 map and went before the 2000 one.
