A tree stump, with it’s middle carved out into decreasing squares that fitted back inside each other. It almost looks like an animal, with a tail. Just by Kennels car park on the Millwood trail, it wasn’t terribly large, and it also wasn’t attached to anything so could be moved around by visitors. I must have walked past it multiple times before seeing it and taking these photos. I’m glad I did as the next time I looked it had gone. Last listed on 1998 map it lasted until after approximately 2004.
