Jim Partridge / Liz Walmsley – Breasty Haw – 1992
Material: Wood
Trail: Bogle Crag Trail
Theme: Nature
Form: Abstract
Maps Featured on: 1994 & 1995
Status: Removed, no remains
The photo above doesn’t do justice to the artwork. Branches were cut from all the trees in a line at a certain height to make a ‘window’ through the plantation. This is all the more impressive as the ground slopes away, meaning it would have been very difficult to cut the branches at the right height to make the tunnel. This was positioned up on Breasty Haw. It was last listed on 1995 map. The area was clear felled in the mid 90s taking the artwork with it.
