This was a temporary artwork created with the help of children from a local school. It was filmed for a children’s art television program, Art Attack. Using found objects nearby (slate, twigs, brash, foliage) they created a wheel representing the seasons. “we couldn’t find enough dandelions to make the suns summer rays yellow so they all went in the middle!”

I think that this was one of the last things I did at Grizedale in the mid nineties which meant that I had the advantage of knowing the forest so well that I knew where to find a place that would give us the excellent landscape picture (without a drone!)” – Holloway
