Photograph taken by Robzet approximately 1996

This was a craved wooden boar sited early on the Ridding Wood Trail. It was probably close to real size and perfect height for children to climb and sit on. Surrounded by rhododendron bushes it was fairly discrete. It features on maps as late as 2006 after which it was removed completely.
